PU LEATHER

PU leather, also known as synthetic leather, is a synthetic leather imitation made from polyurethane, a plastic with a similar feel and appearance to leather but without the use of animals. 100% PU leather is a synthetic material or leather that does not involve animals. PU leather is a type of vegan leather.

This is the type of PU leather that is commonly seen on shoes, though regular PU can be brushed onto a rubber or EVA surface to make it tougher, or PU can be molded into plastic sheets to be used on the outsoles of shoes, particularly running shoes and sandals.
